The week before Christmas, Elli ended up staying three days in the hospital for a kidney infection. Luckily, after about a day of IV antibiotics she was feeling much better. I keep telling people that I really don't think she minded all the individual attention once she felt a little better! The bandage on her wrist was to keep the IV in place. She had another test run yesterday to determine the cause of the infection and it looks like it was just a fluke thing...which is what we were praying for it to be. Thank you, Lord, for our little miracle.

aww...poor little elli. i bet it was scary for her and for ya'll. i'm glad that everything turned out okay and ya'll had a great christmas. still can't wait to meet that beautiful little girl.
